Senior Revenue Accountant
Our client is a leading revenue accounting firm specializing in diverse sectors including Technology, Insurance, Software, Entertainment, Advertising, Media, FMCG, Retail and Travel. They are looking to recruit a Senior Revenue Accountant to join their team that is responsible for comprehensive revenue accounting practices, ensuring adherence to industry standards and enhancing the efficiency of financial processes. Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing the full-cycle revenue accounting process, including policy setup, contract review, and revenue reconciliation.
- Execute monthly revenue bookings and prepare detailed revenue reports for financial disclosure.
- Collaborate on cross‑functional projects aimed at enhancing process efficiencies and internal controls.
- Oversee compliance with ASC 606, IFRS 15, and SOX regulations in all revenue accounting practices.
- Participate in merger and acquisition (M&A) projects and finance transformation initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in ASC 606 and revenue recognition practices.
- Proficient in financial software such as Net Suite, SAP, and billing/revenue management systems.
- Strong understanding of multi‑book accounting, contract reviews, and complex revenue arrangements.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools like Power BI for dashboard reporting.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and project profitability metrics, including TCV, ACV, MRR, and NRR.
