The Norfolk Record Office seeks an Archive Project Assistant to support the Hall Marks:
The Long Shadows of Norfolk’s Lost Country Houses project. This initiative, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, will explore the impact of Norfolk’s lost estates and enhance public access to archival resources.
- Facilitate volunteer programmes, providing support, data processing and quality checks.
- Assist in digitising archive materials, creating learning resources and blogs, including basic image editing.
- Contribute to the digitisation of maps for the Norfolk Historic Map Explorer website.
- Support outreach, education and family events alongside the project team.
- Coordinate with spreadsheets and maintain accuracy and detail.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
