School Administrator
Salary on appointment will be £25,249 per annum (pro rata), with an annual increment up to £26,093 per annum (pro rata).
We are seeking to appoint an organised, proactive and creative School Administrator to join our Faculty Professional Services team.
This is a varied role, providing administrative support across the School and working closely with academic and professional services colleagues to support student recruitment, admissions and outreach activities, as well as providing administrative support to academic colleagues with leadership responsibilities within the School. A component of the role will be to maintain the currency of the School’s website and support social media channels, by helping to create and edit engaging content, working with colleagues across the School and wider Faculty.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and administrative skills, strong written and interpersonal communication skills and good IT skills. You will have some experience of maintaining web and social media content and be confident using Microsoft Office and a range of administrative systems. Knowledge of web authoring platforms such as Liferay, the Pure database, or experience with design software such as InDesign, would be an advantage.
You will be able to manage competing priorities, work accurately to deadlines and use your initiative while contributing positively to a busy team.
This is an opportunity to join a supportive professional services team and play a key role in both the effective running and outward-facing profile of the School of Health Sciences.
This part time (0.6 FTE) post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
