Norfolk — Temporary Position — Day Rate Negotiable DOE
We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established, award‑winning construction contractor based in Norfolk, specialising in high‑quality bespoke construction projects across both residential and commercial sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who is comfortable operating across multiple live projects simultaneously. The role would also suit an experienced Contracts Manager looking to join a growing business delivering exceptional projects throughout Norfolk and the surrounding areas.
You will act as the key link between Site Managers and Directors, overseeing the successful delivery of approximately 6–8 live projects at any one time, with individual project values typically around £2‑£4 million.
Projects are varied and include:- Bespoke new‑build homes
- Heritage and listed building renovations
- High‑end residential extensions and refurbishments
- Commercial developments
- Hotel and hospitality projects
- Restoration and conservation works
- Oversee multiple construction projects from pre‑construction through to completion.
- Support and manage Site Managers across all live projects.
- Monitor programmes, budgets, quality, and health & safety performance.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Attend regular site visits and progress meetings.
- Report project progress, risks, and commercial performance to Directors.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Assist with planning, procurement, and resource allocation across projects.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, or Contracts Manager within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of traditional construction methods.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with site teams, clients, and subcontractors.
- SMSTS qualification.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
