Associate Building Surveyor - Norwich

Anglian Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Associate Building Surveyor to join a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy in Norwich.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career, leading projects, developing client relationships and helping to grow an established Building Surveying team across East Anglia.

The Role

As an Associate Building Surveyor, you will lead the delivery of a diverse range of building surveying projects from inception through to completion. Working across sectors including education, commercial, healthcare, industrial, residential and defence, you will provide expert surveying and project management services whilst supporting the growth of the Norwich office.

Responsibilities
  • Leading building surveying and project management commissions from feasibility through to completion.
  • Managing projects up to £5 million in value.
  • Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
  • Budget management, cost control and programme monitoring.
  • Managing planning, building regulations and statutory approvals.
  • Undertaking site inspections and supervising works on site.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships across East Anglia.
  • Supporting business development activities and identifying new opportunities.
Requirements
  • Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS).
  • Significant post-qualification Building Surveying experience.
  • Strong project management and contract administration background.
  • Experience preparing specifications and tender documentation.
  • Excellent understanding of JCT Contracts and NBS specification writing.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing project finances and fee performance.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
