We are recruiting confident, committed SEMH and SEND Primary Teachers to support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs across specialist schools in Norwich and the surrounding northern areas.

These are purposeful, relationship-led roles where consistency and strong boundaries make all the difference.

The Role

Working with pupils from Reception to Year 11, you will:

Support young people with complex learning, behavioural, and emotional needs

Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour using structured approaches

Build professional relationships based on trust and respect

Adapt learning plans to meet individual needs

Promote resilience, self-regulation, and positive decision-making

Provide the stability and encouragement pupils need to re-engage with education

What We’re Looking For

A resilient, proactive, solution-focused mindset

Confidence in managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently

Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence

Experience in SEMH, SEN, care, youth work, or similar settings (highly desirable)

Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
