Y5​/Teacher Taverham

About the role:

Justteachers are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Taverham, who are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher (Year 5/6) to join their team on a full-time basis for an urgent start on a long-term supply placement.

• Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum, with a focus on Year 5/6
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil wellbeing and academic development
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
• Prepare pupils for end of KS2 assessments and support their transition to secondary education
• Differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities, including pupils with SEND and EAL
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, particularly Upper KS2 (Year 5/6)
• Experience teaching in a primary setting, ideally within KS2
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, proactive approach and a genuine passion for teaching
• Two education-based references
