City College Norwich is looking to appoint a dedicated and knowledgeable Engineering Lecturer to join our dynamic and forward-thinking engineering team. Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across engineering programmes
Support, guide, and supervise learners within workshop environments
Contribute to curriculum development and maintain excellence in delivery
Ensure safe working practices within workshop and teaching spaces
Support student progression, achievement, and employability
Skills and Expertise Required
To maintain high-quality delivery and meet curriculum requirements, it is essential that you bring a strong combination of practical and technical expertise, including:
Proven experience in turning and milling (machining)
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
Knowledge of CAD/CNC systems and applications
Experience in workshop-based teaching and supervision
Ability to deliver hands-on, practical learning effectively
