Media, Business and Digital Industries Learning Supervisor

Role Overview

Media, Business and Digital Industries Learning Supervisor – 25.9 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term time). Salary: £25,255 - £27,373 per annum pro rata (£15,595 - £16,903 per annum actual).

• Run private study workshops for Media, Business and Digital classes at City College Norwich.
• Provide sessions used by students to practise and develop the knowledge and skills gained in lessons.
• Encourage students to carry out research and review activities to support their academic progress.
• Support students in the completion of classwork or project work and encourage extension tasks.

• Relevant Level 4 qualification (e.g. a degree or equivalent) and/or a youth work qualification.
• Recent experience working with young people aged 14‑19.

All staff must undertake an enhanced Adult and Child Workforce DBS Check and register with the DBS Update Service. From 28 November 2020, DBS certificates issued before that date cannot be accepted; thus a new check must be completed with City College Norwich.
