justteachers is delighted to be working with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school located in central Norwich to recruit a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher for a full‑time, long‑term position starting in September. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and thought‑provoking History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong understanding of the past. The school prides itself on fostering a positive learning culture where both staff and students are encouraged to thrive.

• Plan and deliver History lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports progress for all learners
• Differentiated teaching to meet a range of abilities
• Assess and track student progress in line with school policies
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Humanities team
• Contribute to wider school life where appropriate
• Ensure a safe and organised learning environment

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching History within a secondary school setting
• Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive, reflective, and adaptable approach
• Two recent, relevant references
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
