Role Overview
Apprenticeship Assessor – City College Norwich. 14.8 hours per week, flexible to 2 days a week, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year. Salary £27,994–£29,856 per annum (Actual Salary £11,197 to £11,942 per annum).
Responsibilities- Support Higher Apprentices through their programme, gateway, and EPA, building a bridge between academic studies and workplace experiences.
- Manage a case‑load of apprentices, meeting regularly with apprentices and employers.
- Run workshops (one per term per group).
- Track progress, review off‑job hours and build portfolios of evidence.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures as apprentices work toward completing the apprenticeship.
- Assist apprentices through gateway and EPA assessments.
Relevant experience in apprenticeship support or higher education is preferred; strong organisational and communication skills required. All new appointments must complete an enhanced DBS check. Certificates issued before 28 November 2020 are not accepted; a new DBS certificate is required. Interviews are likely to be held on Friday7
