We are seeking an experienced minibus driver to safely operate a school minibus route for school runs (am/pm). You will be collecting and dropping off students from various pick-up points.
As a driver for Norwich High School, you will be a vital part of the student’s day to day school experience. Your normal working hours will be approximately 6.00 a.m. to 8.15 a.m. and 3.45 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. (route dependent), Monday to Friday during school term times only – leaving the rest of the daytime for yourself. Salary is Grade 2 on the GDST national scale, which is £27,132 pro rata.
This means for 22.5 hours per week, the salary will be £13,596.55 (an equivalent hourly rate of £14.49, which equates to £16.97 per hour including holiday pay).
There may be opportunities for overtime and, for those who are interested, an additional role as an invigilator can be discussed.
You must have a current driving licence with at least category D1. You will also be required to pass a MIDAS test prior to appointment.
