We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified individual to join our team as a Hairdressing & Barbering Instructor. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering professional and technical qualifications to our students, across various pathways in hairdressing and barbering.

Responsibilities:

Lead courses within the Hair and Beauty curriculum, ensuring the delivery of outstanding classes.
Plan and execute engaging and informative lessons, incorporating practical sessions alongside relevant theoretical knowledge.
Support and develop the professional and technical skills of each student, fostering a culture of excellence.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum, staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
Maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment, catering to the diverse needs of our students.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in the field of hairdressing and barbering, with up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and techniques.
Vocational qualification in hairdressing and barbering, minimum Level 3.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays, accommodating the schedules of our learners.
Passion for education and a commitment to empowering individuals to reach their full potential.

Applicants will preferably hold a teaching qualification and experience but alternatively be a highly skilled practitioner in their field and so bring a wealth of abilities and knowledge that would benefit our students at every educational level.
