GM Performance Power Units is seeking a Gearbox Test Technician to directly operate and maintain high-performance transmission test rigs in a Formula 1 environment. The role partners with test engineers to ensure accurate data collection, instrumentation setup, and tight adherence to engineering drawings and torque settings.
You'll assemble and prep gearboxes, support equipment, and test assemblies, while performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
