Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for an exciting 6–month project based in Norwich
. This is a high–profile, large–scale project
, offering the opportunity to work on cutting–edge engineering systems.

• IR35: Outside
• Rate: Negotiable

• Design and development of vessel systems and pressure systems
• Preparation of mechanical design reports, calculations, and FEA analysis
• Design and fabrication of sheet metal components
• Work closely with the project team to ensure designs meet technical, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Provide innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges

• Proven experience in mechanical design for vessel/pressure systems
• Proficient in Solid Works
• Strong background in FEA analysis, design calculations, and reporting
• Experience in sheet metal design and fabrication
• Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast–paced environment
