Position: Junior Acoustic Consultant
Location: Norwich
Salary: 28,000 - 35,000 plus benefits

An established and growing acoustic consultancy is looking to recruit a Junior Acoustic Consultant for its Norwich office. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career in acoustics who is eager to build practical experience within a supportive and well-respected team.

The successful candidate will work on a diverse range of projects throughout the East of England, covering environmental noise and building acoustics. Responsibilities will include noise monitoring, acoustic analysis, technical reporting and liaising directly with clients. • Salary between 28,000 and 35,000, depending on experience

• Carrying out environmental noise surveys and building acoustics testing

• Producing technical reports, including noise impact assessments

• Assisting with acoustic modelling and interpretation of data

• Liaising with clients, planners, contractors and local authorities

• Supporting senior consultants on larger and more complex schemes

• Contributing to proposals, tenders and business development activities

• Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related subject

• Around 2-4 years' experience in environmental and/or building acoustics

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Familiarity with BS4142, BS8233 and relevant planning guidance

• Currently studying for, or willing to undertake, the IOA Diploma

• Full UK driving licence
