Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Position: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - DAYS ONLY
Reed Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering & Manufacturing company. We are recruiting a Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer for a days-only role within a heavy industrial / steel manufacturing environment.

The Role Planned preventative maintenance and mechanical fault-finding Maintenance of gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, furnaces and cranes etc Support breakdowns, reliability improvements, and asset performance Supervise contractors and ensure safe working practices Log work via CMMS etc Work to LOLER, PUWER , and site safety standards About You Mechanical engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship Experience in steel, heavy manufacturing or Aerospace, Automotive, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Defence, Glass, Aggregates etc or other manufacturing may be considered Strong mechanical fault-finding skills Safety-focused with good communication skills What's on Offer Days-only role Stable, long-term position Competitive pay and benefits  bonus
