Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial team on the largest Asset Management Programme (AMP
8) and support integrated delivery teams to control costs, maximise value, and maintain quality and safety standards.

• Manage all aspects of commercial and cost management of a project or group of projects as designated by the Project Commercial Manager.
• Ensure robust cost management processes are always undertaken with accurate and timely reports, data, and analysis to support commercial decisions.
• Ensure that all project team members (including site staff) understand the contractual arrangements to satisfy Client & Partner organisation requirements.
• Work with the Delivery Team to identify, implement and monitor efficiency plans throughout the lifecycle of a project or programme of projects.
• Ensure proper records (including final accounts) are kept and maintained so financial information for audits and cost assurance is readily available.

• Extensive experience in managing costs, preferably with a degree or equivalent in engineering, management or cost‑related discipline.
• First‑class customer service and leadership skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of construction and safety regulations.
• Comfortable challenging processes, practices and norms to improve commercial outcomes.
