Mechanical CAD Designer

We are supporting a specialist manufacturing business in theirsearch for an additional CAD Designer for their close-knit team.

This role is ideal for someone who combines solid engineering fundamentals with high‑quality 3D design capability and who enjoys seeing designs move from concept through to production.

• Creating detailed 3D CAD designs using Inventor for bespoke mechanical products
• Applying strong mechanical engineering principles to deliver practical, buildable solutions
• Working directly with customers to understand requirements and develop designs
• Supporting technical proposals and collaborating closely with production teams

• Strong background in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
• Proven experience using Inventor or Solidworks for 3D design
• Ability to design for manufacture in a production environment
• Confident communicator with a practical, problem‑solving mindset
