About Our ClientOur client is a global leader in international marine geoscience and offshore construction support, focusing on renewables. They provide cost‑efficient, end‑to‑end solutions from design to decommissioning and combine marine and offshore operational expertise with consultancy, engineering and operational capabilities for turnkey projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical advice during tenders and high‑level technical support during mobilisation, operations and demobilisation.
- Support project managers with client meeting preparation, technical dispute resolution and daily technical queries from the field.
- Ensure quality, health, safety and environmental considerations are central to all activities.
- Review technical specifications during tender and operational activity.
- Support the commercial team with technical support for tenders when required.
- Advise the asset manager on suitable survey equipment.
- Assist the P&L team with personnel selection for specific technical requirements.
- Provide expert advice and clarity on project specifications and scopes of work.
- Act as the technical authority and support the PM during technical disputes with clients or suppliers.
- Review DPR/minutes from meetings and offer insights on technical issues.
- Review technical spreadsheets and attend technical meetings for input and support.
- Support tendering activities where necessary.
- Experience in an offshore role is beneficial.
- Degree or relevant experience in a survey‑based discipline.
- Experience working closely with tender teams and project managers/operational teams.
- Experience working with blue‑chip, high‑profile clients.
- Experience working in a multi‑cultural organisation.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to communicate views concisely and persuasively.
