Technical Supervisor

York Elec Bias – Global FM Company

Location: York (occasional travel to Sheffield)
Salary: £40,000 + bonus
Hours: Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm
Parking: On-site

York Elec Bias is recruiting for a Technical Supervisor to join a global FM company, based in York
, with occasional cover in Sheffield
.

This is a great opportunity for a strong electrical or multi-skilled engineer to step into a supervisory role, managing a small team in a commercial FM environment. Engineers looking to step up are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Supervise 2 engineers (3-person team)
Plan and manage PPMs and reactive works
Ensure SLA compliance and job completion
Manage contractors and issue permits to work
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
Oversee workload planning and prioritisation

Qualifications

FM or building services experience
Electrical / multi-skilled background
Supervisory or team lead experience (or ready to step up)
Strong communication and organisation skills
Experience managing contractors and permits
