Cadeler is looking for an experienced HSEQ Engineer with your skills and interests!
Cadeler is the global partner in the offshore wind industry, specializing in wind farm construction and maintenance. We focus on the HSEQ management activities for our Foundation Installation projects.
ResponsibilitiesAs our new HSEQ Engineer, you will support the project leadership team on HSEQ related matters and be the main contact person for HSEQ activities, particularly towards the client.
Your main tasks include:
- Planning, preparation and maintenance of project HSE Deliverables (i.e. H&S plan, Environmental Plan, Emergency management plans, etc.)
- Reviewing all HSE requirements, legal and contractual, and ensuring compliance
- Coordinating HSE activities with Client and Subcontractors
- HSE reporting, internal & external
- Conducting and participating in HAZID sessions and Design Risk Assessments
- Reviewing installation Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS)
- Visiting vessels/sites to monitor implementation and effectiveness of HSE procedures
- Reviewing supplier and subcontractor HSE documentation (incl. supplier tender documentation) and performing/participating in supplier audits
- Conducting HSEQ incident investigations and following up on unwanted HSE incidents
- Supporting quality on process, deliverables and documentation

QualificationsWe think you will be a good match if you:
- Hold an engineering degree or NEBOSH National General Certificate
- Have solid experience working with HSEQ within the offshore wind industry (both experienced and senior candidates are considered)
- Are a certified ISO 14001 & 45001 (Lead) Auditor
- Are certified in Investigation training (e.g., Tri Pod Beta, Kelvin TOP-SET, etc.)
- Possess excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Have proven experience with Foundation Installation, which is considered a strong advantage
- Have fluency in English both written and oral
