Mechanical Engineer

NES Fircroft are recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading UK energy operator supporting critical offshore gas assets in the Southern North Sea.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex mechanical systems, drive reliability improvements, support major shutdowns, and provide engineering expertise across both onshore and offshore operations.

You'll be responsible for supporting the reliability, maintenance, and performance of mechanical equipment including pumps, compressors, valves, piping, pressure vessels, and generators.

Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering

Experience with in Oil & Gas or another highly regulated industry

Strong knowledge of rotating and static equipment

Experience with maintenance, reliability, and engineering support

Familiarity with CMMS systems such as Maximo is advantageous

Must currently reside within the UK to be considered for this opportunity

Contract: Initial 12-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension and PAYE Day Rate
