We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer to support the successful delivery of civil engineering projects across the region. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring work is carried out safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards on site.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Site Management

* Set out, level, and survey the site using modern instruments (GPS, total station, etc.)

* Interpret technical drawings and ensure work aligns with project specifications.

* Assist in planning, sequencing, and coordinating daily site activities.

* Monitor site progress and quality, identifying and resolving technical issues promptly.

* Support the Site Manager andSite Agent with day-to-day operations.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

* Maintain accurate site records and inspection reports.

* Ensure work complies with design, quality standards, and contract requirements.

Health, Safety & Environment

* Promote and uphold a strong health and safety culture on site.

* Ensure all activities comply with H&S regulations, RAMS, and company policies.

* Report incidents, near-misses, and potential hazards.

Stakeholder Communication

* Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and the wider project team.

* Communicate technical information clearly to site teams.

* Attend progress meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

* Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

* Experience working on civil engineering or construction projects.

* Strong understanding of site engineering techniques and surveying equipment.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

* Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality.

Desirable:

* CSCS card.

* Full UK driving licence
