As a Lead OT Engineer, you will provide technical leadership, oversight, and strategic direction across Operational Technology (OT) systems used within Anglian Water’s operational environments. Acting as the primary point of contact for complex OT and process control challenges, you will support field engineers, operational teams, and stakeholders in diagnosing and resolving high-impact technical issues, whilst supporting with the delivery of large capital schemes.

Yourexpertisewill be central to ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing leakage and pollution events, and upholding service resilience across our critical infrastructure.

• Work with the OT Programme Team and senior business stakeholders to ensure project deliverables and outcomes are fully aligned to AM8goals to enable business outcomes to be achievede.g.ODIs, I2S, energy efficiencies and OPEX savings
• Undertake technical risk assessments todetermineareas of risk and impact of changes to be implemented to existing automation control systems and Industry Control Networks
• Responsible for the creation of high-level customer requirements documents (IRDS) and detailed Functional Design Specifications (FDS), including system architectures for new and modifications to existing Automation & SCADA systems, industry control networks
• Work closely with all AWS capital delivery partners (@one/IOS) and 3rd party supplies to ensure new hardware has been fully tested and approved before installation.
• Undertake the review and sign-off of 3rd party technical documentation and designs relating to the delivery of Automation and SCADA capital delivery project
• Support and facilitate POC’s and trials of new Automation/SCADA hardware, technology, and systems to support the delivery of the OT strategye.g.IIoT, Industry 4.0 etc
