They specialise in creating custom metal components for a variety of applications, from decorative architectural features to complex structural elements. They have a new opportunity for a skilled Solid Works Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis

• Creating 3D models and technical drawings using Solid Works for architectural metalwork and structural steel projects.
• Support the design team in the preparation of fabrication drawings, part drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Work closely with senior draughtsmen to ensure designs meet project requirements, safety standards, and client specifications.
• Apply best practices in design, manufacturing processes, and materials used in architectural metalwork and structural steel.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on improving designs based on feedback and project needs.
• Assist in conducting basic design analysis to ensure structural integrity and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with the site and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet project deadlines.
