Multi Storey Car Park Service Advisor is responsible for ensuring the security, safety, and efficient operation of the council’s multi-storey car parks. Reporting to the Civil Enforcement Team Leader, the role involves monitoring facilities, conducting regular patrols, operating equipment, and providing a high standard of customer service to internal and external users.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain the security and smooth operation of multi-storey car parks.
  • Provide excellent customer service, assisting with enquiries, ticket issues, and refunds.
  • Conduct regular patrols and CCTV checks to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Support emergency procedures, including fire evacuation and first aid.
  • Maintain cleanliness and report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Operate ticketing systems and ensure accurate financial control.
Skills Required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle enquiries and resolve issues calmly and professionally.
  • Practical, organised, and flexible approach to duties.
  • Problem‑solving skills within defined guidelines.
  • Basic IT skills (e.g., Outlook, Word).
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of health and safety and GDPR requirements.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ramps in multi‑storey car parks.
Educational Requirements
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy (essential).
  • First aid training (desirable).
