Temporary Finance Assistant (2 Months) - Hybrid Working

Norwich £13.50-£15 per hour 35 hours per week

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Norwich-based organisation for a Temporary Finance Assistant to join their team on a 2-month assignment
. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented finance professional looking for a varied role within a supportive environment, offering hybrid working
.

• Processing purchase orders, invoices, and payments accurately and within deadlines
• Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
• Posting takings and banked income
  , direct payments, and receipts
• Managing and reconciling petty cash
• Preparing and submitting BACS payment runs for authorisation
• Ensuring accurate allocation of income and expenditure
• Producing cost centre and departmental analysis as part of month-end processes
• Preparing and posting journals
  , including prepayments and accruals
• Maintaining spreadsheets and financial databases
• Providing timely and accurate reports and financial data as required

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident user of Excel and accounting systems
• Ability to manage workloads and meet tight deadlines
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
  , including VAT and reconciliations

• Competitive hourly rate of £13.50-£15 per hour depending on experience
• Hybrid working (mix of office and remote)
