Senior Financial Crime Analyst

We are recruiting for a Senior Financial Crime Analyst to join our COO team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong experience in financial crime controls and is confident supporting compliance, oversight,and risk management across multiple jurisdictions.

About the role

This role will support the completion of financial crime controls to protect the business against financial crime. The Senior Financial Crime Analyst ensures our operational processes remain compliant with the applicable Anti‑Money Laundering regulations across multiple jurisdictions and the Aviva Financial Crime Standards.

Responsibilities

Deliver and maintain financial crime controls within investment, asset management or wider financial services; apply risk‑based decisions; conduct customer due diligence using financial crime systems and third‑party data; ensure compliance with AML, fraud and regulatory requirements; take ownership and challenge processes to drive good customer outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience delivering financial crime controls within investment, asset management, or wider financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of AML, fraud and regulatory requirements.
  • Skilled in risk management, applying risk‑based decisions and conducting customer due diligence using financial crime systems, screening tools and third‑party data providers.
  • Strong understanding of corporate structures and financial crime processes; confidence to take ownership, challenge effectively and drive good customer outcomes.
  • Practical financial crime experience or transferable skills such as a legal or risk background.
  • International Compliance Association Financial Crime qualification or equivalent professional qualification.
