Senior Finance Analyst/Finance Manager - Property/Network
Location:Hertfordshire (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Type:Permanent
The OpportunityA high‑growth business is seeking a Finance Manager – Network & Property to join its commercial finance team.
This newly created, high‑impact role partners closely with senior stakeholders across property, operations, and strategy. You’ll play a key role in evaluating and shaping investment decisions across a growing physical network, including new site rollouts and optimisation of existing infrastructure.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic finance, modelling, and commercial decision‑making in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
The Role- Lead end‑to‑end financial modelling for new site investments and expansion projects
- Build robust business cases, including scenario modelling across capex, real‑estate, and logistics considerations
- Partner with property and development teams on site acquisitions, negotiations, and lease decisions
- Own post‑investment reviews
, providing insight to improve future capital allocation - Manage and track capex budgets
, ensuring strong cost control and cash flow management - Support innovation across network capacity and investment appraisal tools, leveraging systems and automation
- Qualified accountant (or equivalent) with strong FP&A / commercial finance experience
- Proven track record building complex financial models and business cases from scratch
- Experience in capex‑heavy, operational, or multi‑site environments (e.g. retail, logistics, infrastructure, property)
- Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders
- Highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working with ambiguity
- Experience or interest in leveraging systems/tools to improve financial processes
- Key strategic role with high visibility and stakeholder exposure
