Here we produce all sport scars such as the Emira and the Evija. We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant in the Finance Department to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.
SummaryThe Senior Financial Accountant ensures the Statutory and Management accounts are prepared and reported accurately to all stakeholders of the organisation. Responsibilities include balance sheet control and accuracy, overseeing Finance Business units reporting, supporting tax preparations and compliance (RDEC, VAT), intercompany transactions, reconciliations, coaching team members, supporting financial systems, and developing robust working relationships throughout Lotus.
What you’ll do- Proactive member of the finance team, using technical expertise to support the full team in accordance with group policies and International GAAP, both internally and externally reported.
- Provision of technical support and management of internal and external audits.
- Execute and review ongoing improvement of the financial control framework.
- Develop, maintain, and improve financial systems to simplify processing and improve controls.
- Ensure connected parties are fully reconciled monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Document and maintain finance processes and procedures.
- Manage the financial aspects of SAP development and utilisation in Lotus.
- Work closely with Finance team members to collate and disseminate financial reporting supporting statutory returns.
- Collaborate with senior members of other business units to improve organisation‑wide processes and deliver on audits.
- Lead interactions with internal and external auditors.
- Proactive and confident multi‑tasker able to drive workload and motivate the team and wider finance department.
- Analytical and critical, able to identify gaps or errors in information.
- Ability to simplify issues and communicate effectively to non‑finance audiences.
- Comfortable working both strategically and at a transactional level.
- Passion for development and continuous improvement of systems through collaboration.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Reliable, flexible, diplomatic but capable of being assertive when required.

- The role is permanent and hybrid – minimum 3 days per week on site.
