Payroll & Pensions Trainee

Hours:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Salary: £25k We are looking for a Payroll & Pensions Trainee to join our friendly and professional Payroll & Pensions team. Key Responsibilities Support our team of specialist deliver the portfolio of end-to-end monthly payrolls Complete payrolls processes accurately and within agreed timescales Administer pension processes including Auto Enrolment, AVCs, Local Government and Teacher Pension Schemes. Process pension joiners, leavers, transfers, retirements, and in-service changes Reconcile payroll and pension data and produce accurate reports Liaise with pension providers, finance teams, and other stakeholders Support investigations into and resolve payroll and pension queries in a timely and professional manner Support the administration aspect of audits, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives About You We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and eager to learn.

You will have:

Experience in or a strong desire to learn payroll processing and pension administration Excellent computer literacy skills, including all Microsoft packages. Excellent customer service and communication skills High attention to detail The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately
