About the role

The Finance team keeps Revolut moving with clarity and confidence. From accounting to strategic support, they work across the business to assess risk, guide decisions, and drive growth. Their insight shapes everything from daily operations to long-term plans and plays a key role in how we scale.

We're looking for a Financial Controller who'll report to the Group FC. You'll focus on Revolut's Tech Co entities, responsible for non-operating branches and subsidiaries of Revolut Ltd.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing month-on-month movements in the GL
  • Collaborating with our Global Tax team on VAT and CIT filings
  • Managing local audits and taxation
  • Supporting the launch of new branches
  • Acting as the point of contact for finance-related matters
  • Leading automation projects
  • Improving processes to boost the efficiency and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting through both automation and control measures
What you'll need
  • 6+ years of experience in a related position (4+ if you're a qualified accountant)
  • Experience as an external auditor with some financial services industry experience, or as a financial controller or accountant in a large organisation
  • Knowledge of European direct/indirect tax regulations
  • A solid understanding of how to apply IFRS standards
Nice to have
  • Experience in a Big 4, or in financial control within financial services or banking
  • Experience working in a similar role managing entities
  • The ability to work with SQL for analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with Net Suite

Building a global financial super app isn't enough. Our Revoluters are a priority, and that's why in 2021 we launched our inaugural D&I Framework, designed to help us thrive and grow everyday. We're doing it because we know that seeking out diverse talent and creating an inclusive workplace is the way to create exceptional, innovative products and services for our customers.

That's why we encourage applications from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences to join this multicultural, hard-working team.
