Financial Analyst

Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Duxford, is looking to recruit a motivated and ambitious Financial Analyst to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) looking to develop their analytical skills and gain valuable commercial finance experience within a supportive environment. Working closely with senior finance leaders, you'll play a key role in providing financial insight, supporting business performance, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports and management information. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Analyse business performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Assist with month-end reporting and variance analysis. Develop financial models to support business decisions. Produce KPI reporting and performance dashboards. Work collaboratively with operational teams to provide financial insight and challenge where appropriate. Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes.

Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects as required. About You Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA (or actively studying). Previous experience in an analytical finance role, management accounts, or commercial finance. Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyse data. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills with the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business.
