We are working with a highly established wealth and investment management business that provides investment management and wealth solutions to private clients.
Our client is looking to appoint an Investment Assistant to join their Portfolio Management team in Norwich. The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative and operational support to Investment Managers, helping to ensure clients receive an excellent service and good outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within investment management and gain exposure to portfolio management, client servicing and the wider investment process.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to Investment Managers across a range of client-related activities.
- Assist with client meeting preparation, pitches, correspondence and file notes.
- Support the opening and closing of accounts, stock transfers and payments.
- Maintain accurate client and account information on internal systems.
- Produce reports and analysis using Excel and internal portfolio management systems.
- Assist with the accurate execution and booking of trades based on instructions.
- Provide administration and operational support to the wider investment team.
- Contribute to ongoing projects, process improvements and best-practice initiatives.
- Continue to develop knowledge of the investment industry and financial markets.
We are looking for an organised, accurate and proactive individual who is keen to develop a career within investment management.
You will ideally have:- An RQF Level 3 CISI qualification, or a commitment to achieve this within an agreed timeframe.
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A client-focused approach and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a wider team.
- An understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within financial services.
This role would suit an Investment Administrator, Investment Assistant or experienced Financial Services Administrator who is looking to progress within a professional investment management environment.
You will be proactive, ambitious and keen to expand your technical knowledge of investments and financial markets, while developing your career within an established team.
