What the job involvesAs an Environment Enforcement Officer with Southwark Council, you will investigate environmental crimes, anti-social behaviour, and highways-related offences. Your responsibilities include case management, evidence gathering, site inspections, issuing notices, and preparing cases for prosecution. You will work closely with agencies such as the Police, HMRC, and London Fire Brigade to resolve community issues and improve the local environment. The role also involves conducting proactive patrols, attending court, and producing reports and management information.
