Join our Quality Assurance Team and help shape how Adult Social Services learns, improves and celebrates great practice. This is a role for someone who is curious, reflective and confident in using evidence, relationships and constructive challenge to support meaningful improvement

We believe Quality Improvement and Assurance is about more than identifying what needs to improve. It's about helping teams shine a light on excellent practice, understanding what makes it effective, and supporting sustainable improvement where development is needed. That's why we're looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to join our growing team.

This isn't an inspection role.

It's a role for someone who is naturally curious, values relationships and knows how to use evidence, reflection and professional challenge to help others grow.

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you ll work alongside practitioners, managers and services across Adult Social Services. You ll review practice, undertake Performance and Quality Reviews (PQRs), lead deep dives, identify themes and trends and support teams to translate learning into meaningful improvements. You ll be a trusted critical friend, providing challenge when needed whilst building the relationships that make positive change possible.

We

Are Looking For Someone Who
  • Is passionate about high-quality social care and occupational therapy practice
  • Can analyse complex information and see the bigger picture
  • Has the confidence to offer constructive challenge whilst maintaining positive working relationships
  • Enjoys learning, reflection and professional curiosity
  • Can write clear, evidence-based reports that influence positive change
  • Wants to make a difference beyond a single team or service
  • Believes improvement happens through collaboration and trust rather than blame

Why join our team?

Why join our team?

Our Quality Assurance Team is helping to shape a culture where learning comes before judgement, strengths are recognised alongside areas for development, and people feel safe to reflect on practice openly. We are committed to high standards, but equally committed to kindness, fairness and professional respect.

You'll be joining a supportive team that values curiosity, openness and continuous learning, where your expertise will influence practice at both an operational and strategic level.

If that sounds like the kind of quality assurance you believe in, we'd love to hear from you.
