Community Support Worker

Community Support Worker (Children) Job Type: Part-time We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Support Workers to join our team, focusing on supporting the emotional and physical well-being of children within their own homes and in community settings. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and a deep understanding of safeguarding protocols. Day-to-day of the role:
Provide attentive care, addressing both physical and emotional needs in the home environment and during outings into the community. Follow detailed care plans tailored to each child's specific needs, including requirements for personal care and community activities. Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children both at home and during community outings. Monitor and report any changes in the conditions of children to relevant professionals.

Ensure all interactions and activities are conducted in a respectful and professional manner, adhering to all safeguarding protocols. Travel to homes and accompany children to various community locations, ensuring timely and efficient care delivery. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

A minimum of 6 months care-related experience in the UK. Strong awareness of safeguarding issues and protocols, especially related to vulnerable children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children and their support networks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Empathetic and compassionate nature, with a commitment to providing high-quality care. An up-to-date DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service.

Support available for new DBS applications. Right to work in the UK. Suitability to work with children in a care setting, including providing personal care and support. Strong written communication skills for maintaining logs and observations as part of the role. Benefits:
