Currently, we have an excellent opportunity for a Staff Mental Health Nurse to join our clients team, providing high-quality care and support to patients with acute mental health needs.

Salary:
Up to £ 37,227 + £3k welcome bonus

Key Responsibilities

Providing high-quality care for patients with acute mental health needs.
Contributing to the development and implementation of care plans.
Monitoring and managing patients’ progress and adjusting care as necessary.
Administering medications as per prescribed plans and guidelines.
Providing therapeutic support and ensuring patient safety at all times.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including doctors, therapists, and support workers.
Delivering patient assessments and ensuring accurate clinical documentation.
Promoting a positive and supportive environment for both patients and colleagues.
Supporting the development of junior staff and nursing students.
Participating in continuous professional development opportunities

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:

Valid NMC Registration as RNLD or RMN.
Evidence of post-registration continuing professional development.
Knowledge of NMC standards, the Mental Health Act, and Code of Practice.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
A positive attitude and commitment to high-quality care and improvement.
