Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse Non-Medical Independent Prescriber in Norwich. Earn £31.50 hourly for an ongoing placement while working full-time in the heart of Norwich, UK. You will be joining the dynamic Mary Chapman House team, strategically located at 120 Hotblack Road, Norwich, NR2 4HN
. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, in a role that cannot be completed remotely. Requirements include being a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist with specialism in CFYP or equivalent experience.

What you will do:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments using tools such as neuropsychological and psychometric assessments, along with self-report measures and structured interviews.
• Develop and implement treatment and management plans informed by suitable psychological frameworks.
• Administer a range of psychological interventions to patients, carers, and families.
• Make expert evaluations and treatment decisions while considering therapeutic models and individual patient histories.
• Ensure care plans are effectively communicated with referral agents during the assessment, treatment, and discharge processes.
• Provide the clinical team with specialist psychological expertise and support, including conducting risk assessments and advising on psychological risk management.
• Disseminate psychological theory and research to inform team-based care.
• Communicate assessment findings and treatment plans sensitively and skilfully.
• Evaluate individual and team progress regularly.
• Offer psychological support to staff, especially following critical incidents, when appropriate and supported by senior clinicians.
