Personal Care Assistant lady

Personal Care Assistant for a lady P/T@ £15.00/hr in Norwich - NORWICH - NR2

I am a 69-year-old lady with advanced MS. I am in a wheelchair and have the use of my right arm and hand only. I need another Personal Assistant/Carer for job share.

I require a bespoke diet from a personalised assessment, training and instruction will be given in the preparation of some foods.

I am an artist, mainly for self-therapy but I exhibit regularly in Norwich at the Forum, for this I will need some assistance. Again training and instruction will be given.

There is the possibility of more hours when covering shifts for the other PAs. I am very flexible and have a number of PAs to ensure work and time off as needed.

• Experience of looking after someone with MS.
• Living locally or having reliable transportation.
• Driving license

• Rate of pay for this position is £15.00 hour.
• Hours and times of work: 5 hours per week, exact days and times will be discussed during the interview.
• Annual holiday entitlement for this position is 1 hour for every 8 hours worked.
• Free annual training:
  Data Protection, Health and Safety, Manual Handling, Food Hygiene and Personal Care.

• A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
• Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
• Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
