Payroll Clerk
Location: Norwich
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are working on behalf of a reputable and well-established business based in Norwich to recruit a Payroll Clerk to join their finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional, or someone looking to develop their career within payroll, to join a supportive and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities- Processing end-to-end payroll accurately and on time
- Managing payroll queries from employees and internal stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring data integrity
- Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and internal policies
- Processing starters, leavers, and salary changes
- Liaising with HMRC and pension providers where required
- Supporting payroll reporting and month-end processes
- Previous experience in a payroll position
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good understanding of payroll legislation and processes
- Confident IT skills, including Excel
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage deadlines
- Competitive salary depending on experience
