We are seeking an experienced HR professional with strong
Industrial Relations
Management experience to join our HR team on an interim 6-9-month contract, with part-time options considered, supporting a complex,
unionised manufacturing environment
. Reporting to the Group HR Director, you will help shape and deliver the industrial relations agenda for the Norwich-based Manufacturing Division.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, trade unions and operational leaders to build strong relationships, support collective agreements and provide expert industrial relations advice in a commercially focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support delivery of the Manufacturing Industrial Relations strategy.
  • Build effective relationships with trade unions, managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Provide advice on collective agreements, industrial relations matters and employment issues.
  • Identify and manage IR risks, supporting practical and constructive solutions.
  • Support operational leaders with complex employee relations and workforce matters.
  • Produce clear communications, reports and guidance to promote consistency across the business.
  • Strong HR and industrial relations experience, ideally in a unionised and operationally complex environment.
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law and experience working with collective agreements.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Commercially aware, pragmatic and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in manufacturing would be highly advantageous.
About You
  • Strong HR and industrial relations experience, ideally in a unionised and operationally complex environment.
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law and experience working with collective agreements.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Commercially aware, pragmatic and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in manufacturing would be highly advantageous.
