Our Client Are you an HR professional looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced operational environment? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Advisor to join a global manufacturing business with a wealth of instantly recognisable brands. This role is pivotal in delivering an outstanding people experience, supporting managers and employees across a busy site. What You'll Do Working closely with site leadership and the wider People team, you'll provide practical, commercially focused HR advice across a broad range of employee relations and people-related matters.

You'll be a trusted partner to managers, helping them navigate complex situations while ensuring consistency, compliance and a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities Provide first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees. Support employee relations cases including absence, conduct, capability, grievance and probation matters. Assist with investigations, disciplinary and grievance processes, including preparing documentation and taking meeting notes. Support recruitment, onboarding and probation activities. Maintain accurate HR records, case management data and people metrics. Work collaboratively with occupational health, payroll, health & safety and operational teams.

Contribute to engagement, wellbeing and continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Support positive employee and trade union relationships. Who we are looking for We're looking for a proactive HR professional who enjoys building relationships, coaching managers and solving problems in a practical way.

You will bring:
Experience in a HR Advisor, People Advisor or similar operational HR role. Strong employee relations knowledge and experience managing HR cases. Good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.

Experience with in manufacturing, FMCG, engineering or another operational environment would be advantageous. CIPD qualification or working towards professional accreditation is desirable.
