Cooper Lomaz is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our established recruitment team.

With over 35 years of experience in the recruitment industry, Cooper Lomaz has built strong relationships with businesses across the UK, supporting clients with permanent and contract recruitment across a range of specialist markets.

We're looking for someone who enjoys recruitment, thrives on building relationships and wants to be part of a business where they can make a genuine impact.

We're open-minded about your recruitment background. Whether you've worked in IT, Engineering, Finance, Commercial, Industrial or another recruitment sector, we're more interested in your experience, attitude and ability to develop business and deliver results.

The Role

As a Recruitment Consultant, you'll manage the recruitment process from initial client engagement through to successful placement, developing long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Developing new business opportunities through proactive sales activity, networking and relationship building.

* Managing and growing existing client relationships.

* Identifying, attracting and engaging candidates through headhunting, database searches, referrals and advertising.

* Taking detailed vacancy briefs and advising clients on recruitment strategies and market conditions.

* Managing the full recruitment process, including interviews, offers and placements.

* Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of clients and candidates.

* Working towards individual revenue targets while contributing to wider team success.

* Delivering a professional, consultative service to clients and candidates.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with recruiters who have:

* Previous experience working as a Recruitment Consultant within an agency environment.

* A proven ability to manage vacancies and deliver successful placements.

* Confidence in business development and building client relationships.

* Strong candidate sourcing and relationship management skills.

* A proactive, self-motivated approach with a genuine interest in recruitment.

* Good commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities.

* Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.

Previous recruitment agency experience is essential, but sector experience is flexible.

You could be an established 360 consultant looking for a fresh challenge, or a recruiter with strong delivery experience who is keen to develop their business development skills further.
