IT Operations Manager

Salary: £50,000 - 55,000 per year

• We need experience with Windows Server and Windows Desktop operating systems.
• We require knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
• We are looking for Microsoft 365 Exchange knowledge.
• We prefer candidates who can work onsite full time and do not require sponsorship now or in the future.

• We will expect you to lead and manage the service desk team to deliver exceptional technical support to internal users.
• We will rely on you to ensure prompt resolution of IT issues and drive continuous improvement in customer experience and operational efficiency.
• We will ask you to oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring the stability, reliability, and security of our IT infrastructure.
• We will expect you to manage our existing IT Infrastructure Team.
• We will require you to ensure appropriate cybersecurity systems are in place.
• We will need you to oversee the maintenance, support, and optimisation of all IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
• We will expect you to ensure our infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards.
• We will ask you to ensure all IT operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• We will expect you to align IT operations with corporate and cluster policies, procedures, service levels, and defined processes.
• We will need you to monitor and analyse the performance of IT systems and services.
• We will expect you to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.

We are a progressive organisation based at our headquarters in central Norwich, and this is a permanent, full-time role working onsite.
