Overview

Criminal Paralegal 1+ years’ experience - Norwich – Well regarded law firm is looking for a Criminal Paralegal to join it’s busy and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated paralegal with a genuine interest in criminal law to gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced solicitors on a wide range of matters. • Provide vital support across a varied caseload of criminal law matters.
• Assist solicitors with the preparation of cases from police station through to trial.
• Attend police stations and courts when required.
• Draft legal documents, statements, review prosecution evidence and prepare case bundles.
• Liaise with clients, counsel, courts and external agencies.

• Experience as a paralegal in criminal law within a firm renowned for their criminal offerings.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Police Station Accredited (Ideal).
• Demonstrate a clear interest in progressing a long-term career in criminal defence.
