Job Title: Residential Property Paralegal (Entry Level)

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level Residential Property Paralegal to join our busy conveyancing team in Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate or legal assistant looking to build a long-term career in residential property.

You will work closely with experienced fee earners, supporting a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters while developing your practical legal skills in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting fee earners with a caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion
  • Opening and closing files, including conducting client due diligence and s
  • Drafting standard correspondence and legal documents
  • Preparing contract packs and completion statements
  • Ordering searches and reviewing search results
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
  • Handling post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
  • Maintaining accurate case records on the firm's case management system
  • Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team

Requirements

  • Law degree or equivalent legal qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • Previous legal or administrative experience (desirable)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn case management systems
