PDI Technician
Salary £13.60 per hour basic + Bonus Contract Type Permanent Location Norwich Hours 42.5 hours, 5 days out of 7 on a rota – weekend working will be required. Responsibilities- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Inspect vehicles and diagnose faults to meet Motorpoint’s quality benchmarks.
- Follow our PDI process, including conducting road tests, to ensure readiness for handover.
- Complete documentation accurately and support vehicle movements as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
- Champion health and safety and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Carry out any other ad hoc tasks as required.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- A minimum Level 2 motor trade qualification.
- EV qualification is desirable – we’ll support you with training if needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot issues during inspections.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A team player who can also work independently.
- Motivation to meet performance goals and uphold quality standards.
- Organised and efficient in managing workload and priorities.
- Commitment to safety and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Willingness to support other sites when needed.
