Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 7.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, either 06:00‑07:30 or 18:00‑19:30
Norse Cleaning Division works in partnership across East Anglia providing professional cleaning services to local schools, public buildings, and communal areas.
PositionCleaner – Drayton Children’s Centre
We are looking to recruit a part‑time cleaner for the Drayton Children’s Centre.
The RoleIn this role you will carry out basic cleaning duties and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and maintaining designated areas – mopping, hoovering, wiping down, emptying bins.
- Building relationships with the client on site.
- Carrying out routine checks and following health and safety at all times.
- Reporting any issues or defects on site.
We will ideally be seeking a successful candidate who demonstrates:
- Previous cleaning or caretaking experience.
- Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on‑site.
- Confident working independently and to their own initiative.
- Previous commercial cleaning experience would be desirable.
- Enhanced rates of pay at weekends.
- Flexible working patterns to suit your needs.
- Permanent and casual contracts.
- Uniform provided.
- Paid DBS upon completion of 6 months.
- 20 days annual leave + bank holidays (pro‑rata).
